New Days, New Year
I can’t remember when my parents were so enthusiastic in ushering the new year.
Maybe it started last year, when things started to turn around for the greater good.
For me, things have been going great. If not, much more awesome than 2011. Even though I’ve aged 360 days older, I don’t feel much aged mentally (haha), but quite physically. Instead of spending days out and about in the past, I much prefer seeking warmth and ‘laziness’ in the comforts of my home (and sofa bed). Things are always good if there’s aircon, ice cream and a damn good comforter waiting for me back in my humble abode.
But seriously! I can forgo shopping and chilling trips outside just for lazing around at home like a couch potato. I am starting to detest travelling out (well, a different story if I’m travelling overseas- because Singapore is simply just a BORING piece of land on earth) and waiting for public transport. Oh, and even though I’d rather drive at times, I will just shrivel at the thought of walking to the car and back, and all the crazy peak hour jams and angst while waiting and fighting with unruly drivers for parking lots. Is this a GROWN UP THING? To prefer to laze at home? ): I can even sleep for more than half a day!
On a much lighter note. I am going to school for every single lecture, cept for one cos I’m sick and I have a valid MC for that. Hope that this will be my final semester and I can graduate with distinction, hopefully. :) Seems like there are pretty heavy projects coming up this semester and that I do require quite some effective time management planning, which I absolutely have no flair in whatsoever. Still thinking if I should go for the MTV management/marketing internship or start applying for jobs. And what sort of jobs should I go for. Dilemmas. Uni days are just simply too short. ):
Or travelling! I absolutely love the last quarter of 2011 where I get to travel so much out of Singapore! I realized I haven’t blogged about my Seoul trip yet, which I will soon, cos there’s so much to say and I’m too lazy (haha). Are there any jobs out there where I can get to travel EVERYWHERE and get based at different cities for a long period of time? I’d love to return to Seoul again. Such a pretty and lovely place. Oh, my first day in Seoul was hell though (I wanted to go back home in fact). Hahaha. More on that in my Seoul post next time. I seriously truly hope my next stop will be Japan in May, which is very likely gonna realize. Gotta start saving.
Okay. Reunion dinner’s calling! SIGNING OUT!
